Sizzling Summer Series Prep for Life Camp

This wednesday on the Flex saw sponsors and campers from the Youth Services Unit's Sizzling Summer Series Prep for Life Camp. Our guest on the show were sponsors from the Rotary Sunrise Club Marilyn Connolly and Winston Conolly along with campers Kimberly Young and Joshua McFarlane. The music featured this week were:

The Flex Crew was very impressed with our camper guest Kimberly and offer her a spot on the 2009 Youth Flex Crew to which she gladly accepted. So you can look forward to hearing more from Kim in the future.

Remote broadcast from the Brand New Public Library

We know that Leaders are Readers so we aimed to encourage all residents to visit the Library and read. Our Guests this week were Miss Juliet Lawson the Youth Librarian and three of the Library's College Interns.

A look at Summer Leaders

The Flex guest last week was Miss Sylvia Wilks of the Cayman Islands Youth Development Consortium and Mr. Simon Miller of NDC along with Organizers of the very popular Sea Camp in Little Cayman . We also had rising star Jiggz on along with the President of the Cayman Music and Entertainment Association Mr. Jean Eric Smith

John Gray Interns assist with the Flex

Youth Flex got some other students onboard through the work experience placement from John Gray High School working at the Youth Services Unit. These interns wrote scripts for the show gather News items voiced promotional spots and join YSU Staff in promoting the Sizzling Summer Series Camps on local Televison and radio stations. Great Job !
