Recognition of Media & Marketing and YCEA

On January 20th the Flex hosted Kenneth Bryan of CITN Cayman27 and Cassandra Hibbert of Diamond Events Promotions along with Sylvia Wilks of the Cayman Islands Youth Development Consortium and four of the five finalists of the Yentel McGaw Youth Community Excellence Awards. We also had our featured artist of the week Gordon Solomon in studio to share thoughts with us on his new album "Solid Rock".

First Show for 2010 Recognition of Watersports Operators & Fishermen

On January 13th YouthFlex continued its season of recognition by recognizing watersports operators and fishermen. Some of our scheduled guests were unable to attend the live broadcast due to an ongoing search and rescue operation for 5 persons missing at sea. Captain Dwight Ebanks managed to make the show and we also had Miss Rita from the Cayman National Cultural Foundation in to talk about a Film Competition the Foundation is holding in partnership with the Cayman Film Industry for youth aged 10-15.
