Underage Drinking

Todays topic is underage drinking. This month is Alcohol Awareness Month. Underage drinking is a very big problem with teenagers, and the number of alcohol-related fatalities among underage drinkers has been increasing annually. This is a very disturbing trend that goes against the goals of the National Youth Policy and the National Strategic Policy Vision 2008. Mr. Simon Miller from the Cayman Islands NDC (National Drug Council) was on the show today. He spoke about the dangers of underage drinking.

Knolis is back to visit and he is on the show. And we have Miss K.C from the Gospel Festival, she gave away tickets to the concert. The first caller won 1 Gospel ticket & 1 FunkyTangs gift certficate.

Many Broad Leaf plants were destroyed in 1988 by Hurricane Gilbert who brushed south of Grand Cayman leaving trail of destroyed foliage.
